Delete your data
There is no account to delete. Compass: Navigation & Vault
has no sign-in and no server of ours. Everything you create stays on your
device, so deleting it is something you do on the phone itself — instantly,
without asking us and without waiting.
Delete your data from inside the app
This is the fastest route, and it works offline.
- Open Compass: Navigation & Vault.
- Tap the settings icon at the top right.
- Under Privacy & sensors, tap Your location data.
- Choose what to remove:
- Delete all waypoints
- Delete all trips
- Delete saved grid references
- Clear route points
- Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
The same screen has Export everything as GPX, if you want to keep a copy before deleting.
Delete Private Space contents
Files you imported into Private Space are managed inside Private Space itself. Open it, select an item, and choose Delete permanently.
Delete everything at once
Either of these removes all app data permanently:
- Uninstall the app, or
- Android Settings → Apps → Compass: Navigation & Vault → Storage → Clear storage
There is no cloud backup and no copy on any server of ours, so once it is gone it cannot be recovered — by you or by us.
What is deleted, and what is kept

If you would rather we did it
Because there is no account, we hold nothing to delete on your behalf. If you have a question, or believe some data exists that you cannot remove yourself, write to us and we will look into it and reply within 2 working days.
